Eric,
My deepest sympathies to you and your family at this difficult time. Mary had a huge impact on so many of my friends growing up. I still remember sneeking in to her class at Glebe with my Sister, as her class was much more interesting than my school.
She will be very fondly remembered.

Dear Erik, Loren, Michelle, Steffen,
my sympathies are with you all at this time. Although I had not seen her in too many years to count, I have many memories of Mary, but my very best always came at Halloween, as it was your house which I looked forward to visiting the most. Try to remember times like those during these difficult times.
God bless you all.

I loved Mrs. Christensen. She was my favourite teacher at Glebe. Apart from opening up new worlds to me through novels and poetry, she gave me confidence, the belief that I might actually have some worthwhile ideas to contribute -- a true teacher. My condolences to her family.

To the Christensen family...
I am deeply saddened by Mary's passing, and I offer my heartfelt condolences to all of you. "Mrs. C" was a lovely, generous, vivacious woman. She was my high school English teacher for two years at Glebe, and introduced me to many authors whose works I still read. I admired her tremendously. Many of my best memories are caught up with her.
May you have the consolation of each other's strength and company, and may Mary live on not only in your hearts, but in the good she did for so many students who will remember her, and in her faith in the next world.
