Mary Evans

Mary Evans, aged 91, passed away peacefully on the morning of January 27, 2025, in Boise, Idaho.

Born on April 4, 1933, Mary lived a long and fulfilling life surrounded by family and friends who cherished her deeply. She leaves behind three sons, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter.

Mary was known for her generous spirit and kind heart, qualities that endeared her to everyone she met. She faced life's challenges with remarkable resilience and a sharp sense of humor, teaching those close to her the importance of laughter and finding joy even in difficult times. Her warmth and wit were constants throughout her life and remained evident even in her final days.

One particularly touching memory from Mary's last days highlights her enduring sense of humor and love for her family. After a small mishap left her bedridden, she quipped with a smile, "Well, I won't be doing that again!" Despite the circumstances, she reassured her family that she would be okay and shared heartfelt words with them. Holding a cameo gifted by one of her sons at Christmas, she expressed how much it meant to her and how deeply she loved it. In the days that followed, a nurse recalled hearing Mary speaking softly as if in conversation with someone unseen. Later that day, Mary was heard giggling and laughing-a testament to the lightheartedness that defined her life-before passing away peacefully just hours later.

Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace in eternal paradise.
