Mary Hill Obituary
Mary spent her varied career as an Administrative Assistant, Tax Preparer and Manager of the Fine Arts Dept. of the Washington State Fair. First and foremost, Mary was an Artist. Mary was a gifted and remarkable painter. Her paintings were a window into her soul. She loved to garden and had an amazing ability to make anything grow. Mary is remembered as a sweet and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was an avid golfer, which became a passion for her and Don. She was quick to smile and laugh. She was generous and kind to her family, friends, and everyone she met. Mary was exceptionally beautiful on the inside and out. She was unswerving in her Catholic faith, which was an integral part of her daily life. If you ever visit Bullhead City, AZ, you can see her paintings inside St. Margaret Mary Church
Mary is survived by her brother Alex, her children Don, Diane, Dori and Christy, her sons-in-law Mike, Mark, and Charles (Drew), her grandchildren James, Ottie, Danielle, Jennifer, Christopher, Jacki, Rachel, Robert (Max}, Alexis and Anthony and her great-grandchildren, Collin, Ethan, Robin, Austen, and Glen. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Yolan, her husband, Don, her daughters, Denise, and Nancy (Brandy) and her grandchildren, Randi, Danielle Patrice, Colin and Great-Grandson Danny, and her Daughter-in-law Danita.
Rosary and Memorial Mass to be held on 9:30am April 21, 2023, at St. Martin on Tours Catholic Church, Fife, WA. Celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 21st at 1:30pm. Please contact family for details at 2539064838.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, WA.

My Mom was a bright light, always. Her family meant everything to her. She brought joy to all around her, in so many ways.

My beautiful Mom. I´m not sure how to express what she was to me. As a child she was everything to me. As I grew up, she became my friend. I shared so many things with her that wasn´t able to with anyone else. She had the ability to fully understand and not to judge me, even when I wasn´t making the best choices. She was always there to help. When my daughter was in the hospital for almost a year, Mom never missed a day of visiting her. We became very close during that time, and I feel that I never fully thanked her for that. My Dad also deserves a special thank you, as he didn´t see much of her that year and he never complained. I feel that the world has lost a beautiful shining light, and heaven has gained an angel. I love you, Mom.

Oh, My Grandma. I don't even know where to begin! I can remember as a young child spending every day with her while My Mom was at work. We'd talk and play video games and share sweets. As I got older we'd gab about makeup tips, share hugs and kisses, and text regularly just to remind the other of their importance. I miss you, Gramma. This passing has been so hard on all of us who loved and will continue to love you until we join you in heaven. Your kindness and laugh are going to be missed every single day. I think of you often and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. Until we meet again!! I love you!
