MARY E. MOCHRIE

Mary E. Mochrie, 79, of Fort Myers, Florida, and formerly of Broadalbin, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Shell Point Retirement Home in Fort Myers. She was born in Amsterdam on July 30, 1931, a daughter of Benjamin and Caroline Feltis Kline, and graduated from Amsterdam High School. Mrs. Mochrie was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Broadalbin, and Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord in Fort Myers. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Broadalbin. Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Kenneth A. Mochrie; three sons, David (Sue) Mochrie of Broadalbin, Brian (Tamara) Mochrie of Rochester, and Daniel Mochrie of Albany; three daughters, Judy (Robert) Rosenzweig of Broadalbin, Sharon (Mark) Perfetti of Amsterdam, and Doreen (Chris) Mochrie-Tuohy of Laurel Hollow; 12 grandchildren, Karen Roberts, Shannon Lannigan, Erin Mochrie, Caitlin Mochrie, Todd Rosenzweig, Eric Rosenzweig, Kyle Mochrie, Devin Mochrie, Jessica Perfetti, Rachael Perfetti, Chelsea Tuohy, and Molly Tuohy; two great-grandchildren, Sean Rosenzweig and Zoey Roberts; a sister, Alice Jankunas; a brother, Harry Kline; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation was performed in Florida. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 7 North Street, Broadalbin, with Rev. Thomas Morrette officiating. Final burial will take place at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #337 of Broadalbin or to the Broadalbin Kennyetto Fire Company, both in care of the funeral home. Local arrangements are by the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc., 38 West Main Street, Broadalbin.
