Mary Lou Rosborough, age 70, of Uxbridge, passed away at home on Tuesday morning April 20th after a courageous battle with Cancer. Mary Lou was born in Whitinsville on July 19th 1950, to the late Russell and Anna Rosborough, and was a lifelong resident of Uxbridge. She attended the Uxbridge school system and went on to study at Central Connecticut State College and Worcester State University where she obtained her bachelors degree in education. She then went on and had a successful career in IT at the Norton and EMC companies. As Mary Lous career in IT was coming to a close, she discovered her true passion - she obtained her teaching certificates and became a certified tutoring instructor for many young students in the Uxbridge school system. After retiring, Mary Lous adventurers began. She traveled extensively, loved going to her summer homes in Westerly, and the Cape. She loved sitting on her Veranda to watch the tide roll in and out. Her most memorable trips were with her family at Disney World and her travels to Europe and Italy with her dear friend Lois. Mary Lous greatest joy was the time she spent with her nieces and nephews and their children. She was unselfish with her time and spent many hours caring, playing, and attending every play, dance, recital or graduation. Mary Lou will surely be missed by her "Kids," and her family. Mary Lou is survived by her loving siblings. Linda Stanick and her husband Mike of Douglas, Russell Rosborough Jr and his wife Brenda of Uxbridge, Barbara Tumeinski and her husband Neil of Uxbridge, Tom Rosborough and his wife Sandy of Uxbridge, and Carolyn Meuschke and her husband Karl of Maryland. In addition, she is survived by twelve nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mary Lou will be held on Monday April 26th from 8:30 -9:30 AM at Buma funeral home, 101 N. Main St Uxbridge. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Church, 77 Mendon street Uxbridge. Interment will be private. Facial coverings and physical distancing protocols will be required. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Lous name can be made to: UMASS Cancer Walk and Run, 333 South Street Shrewsbury Ma. 01545. www.bumafuneralhome.com.

When we both started at Norton´s on the same day in 1976 little did we know our friendship would last a lifetime. So many funny and wonderful times over the years. I love you my friend.
