Mary Lou Stauffer

Mary Lou Stauffer of Coatesville Mary Lou Stauffer, 82, of Coatesville died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of Charles F. Stauffer, who preceded her in death in May, 2014. Born in Parkesburg, she was the daughter of the late Edwin B. and Naomi Hart Ross Davis. Mary Lou along with her husband, Charles, owned and operated Stauffer Fuel for 35 years. She was a member and trustee at Forks of the Brandywine Church. Mary Lou was involved with the Brandamore civic and social club; the auxiliary of the Wagontown Fire Company; and enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing and reading books. Surviving her is a son, Chuck Stauffer, husband of Brenda; a daughter, Cindy Lu Frey, wife of John; a daughter-in-law Pegi Stauffer; a sister, Dorothy Swisher; seven grandchildren and two great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her sons, William M. and Gary F., a daughter, MaryAnn and a granddaughter, Megan. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the Harris Mountain Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville.
