Denver, CO

Age 40, passed away at his home on January 30, 2017. Matt is survived by his parents Bill and Patsy Henry, brother Ryan Henry (LeeAnn), niece Ry'Lee Henry, and grandmother Rachael Pugh.

Matt grew up in Hendersonville, TN, graduating from Hendersonville High School and The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He studied abroad at the University of Swansea in Wales.

Matt enjoyed life. He had a tremendous love for family, friends, the outdoors, cooking, and travel. He traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe. His most recent adventure was hiking the Swiss Alps ending at The Matterhorn in Zermatt, Switzerland.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of First Baptist Church Hendersonville, TN. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Reverend John Moore will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Safe Place For Animals, Gallatin, TN, Wounded Warriors, or Room In The Inn, Nashville, TN.
