Matthew Joseph White, age 27, of Wilmington, DE died suddenly at his home on Saturday, November, 22, 2014. Matthew graduated from Brandywine High School in 2005 and the Immaculate Heart of Mary School in 2001. Matthew enjoyed spending time working on cars, loved playing baseball and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. Matthew will be greeted by his mother, Mary Jane Sheehan, August 2008. He will be sadly missed by his father, Elmer White of Wilmington, DE, a sister, Alicia (White) Humphreys and her husband Brad of Phoenixville, PA, two brothers; Justin White and Patrick White, both of Wilmington, DE. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 11:30 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4701 Weldin Road, Wilmington, DE 19803. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Interment will be private.

I will truly miss my dear friend. I only knew him for about a year but he became a part of my family right from the start. I am heartbroken. My prayers go out to all his family and friends and we all shall see him again...
