We were saddened to hear of Maureen“s passing. Our daughter, Kalina was classmates with Jonah and Jacob. My memories of Maureen include that of her working at St. Bernadette caring for the kids. She would invite the class of 2014 to her home to work on projects for the school. In fact, we purchased a Portrait of St. Bernadette (St. Bernadette...through our eyes, Class of 2014) at the school auction which Maureen helped the kids put together. It has since been hanging on our wall here at home. Our condolences to Jonah, Jacob and to the family. God bless Maureen and may she rest in peace. With Sympathy, Darlene, Kalina, and Bo Cordero.

I met Maureen at St. Bernadette. She worked in the kitchen and I worked across from there in the Extended Day room.
She was so fun to be around. She joked with the kids and was so genuine. She and I worked together at Extended Day for a short time. It was so great working with her, picking her brain and working things out with kids and parents.
I enjoyed having Jacob and Jonah at Extended Day too. She was a very involved parent at St. Bernadette school and with the Parish.
I loved her laugh, sarcasm and sensibility!
Rest in peace Maureen, I'm so glad to have known you.

Although I was Maureen's godmother (as her mother was mine), I hardly knew her at all. We always lived far away from each other. It wasn't until she was already grown and the mother of two sons that my husband Howie and I visited Seattle and were able to spend some time with her. She made us feel so welcome! I remember her as a bundle of energy organizing a barbeque and inviting the family. She made everything fun. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. I send condolences to all of you family members and friends. Know that my prayers are with you. I'm sure my Howie is enjoying having her in heaven with him. Kay Thompson (cousin)

When George and I were newlyweds (1983) in Caribou, Maine; Maureen who was 14 at the time made some hand painted ceramic ornaments and mailed them to us for our first Christmas. I still have them and think of her every time I put them on our tree
