Mo's fave photo of me with Zombie baby Selwyn

I was so sorry to hear of Mo's passing. She was full of fun and love for everyone in her hometown. I once sent my mom a joke postcard using a photo of me holding a Zombie baby prop from a Peter Jackson film called Dead Alive AKA Braindead in the early 90s. On the back I said "Hey mom, I made you a grandma! this is Baby Selwyn, your new Zombie Grandson. What do you think?" Mo loved it so much she got permission to keep the postcard from my mother, Janet, and pinned it up for everyone to see. That was Mo; always cracking people up but doing a great job too. When I moved to LA in 1990, she helped me send everything, except myself, out via US Mail. Mo was just delightful and always happy to see me when I came home for visits. I am sad for her family that she was taken so young. I send you my love and this memory. Mo will always be in my heart.

To "Mo's" Family and friends
She was always the most efficient and cheerful person at the Post Office. There wasn't a question you could ask she didn't know the answer to.
I am so sorry to hear of her light passing from this world, but she is now a light on the other side.

Cousin, but more of a friend. No matter how long between visits or talks, it felt like we talked the day before. Heart of gold and as big as the world. Always a smile, always a kind word. She is at peace and no longer hurting, but she is missed just the same. Love you Mo. Until we hug again.

So saddened to hear of Mo's passing. I worked with her at the Hyde Park Post Office. She was funny, witty, loyal, caring and kind and loved her family and friends very much. I will always remember that about her. My sincerest condolences to her husband and family. Rest in Heavenly Peace, sweet Mo. xoxo

My favorite girl in this world is now at peace. She fought a great fight. Mo help me through my battle with cancer and used her influence up above to get me free of it. Now at the right hand of God, I need her pull again with our son. Rest in peace cousin.

My deepest condolences to Mike Gregory and the Murphy family. Maureen was a very special person. I knew her growing up in Millbrook and later when she worked at the Post Office. She always had a great smile and a kind word for all. RIP Mo.
