Maureen Roberts Obituary
I (Shannon) would like to thank all of our friends and family who gave so deeply and endlessly through the last months of Maureen's life. It is also with deep gratitude that I thank Dr. Judith Bus, Dr. Sharon Duncan, Dr. Daphne Lobb, Dr. Karen Gelmon, Nancy Macey and the remarkable staff at Delta Hospice for their care and support. Every wish Maureen and I had, from small to significant, was made possible by the efforts of Catherine and the amazing team at Irene Thomas Hospice.
Mostly, I would like to thank Maureen for guiding us through this journey and our lives with her, with infinite strength and grace. "To the moon and back my love".
A celebration of Maureen's life is planned for a future date to be announced. Donations in memory of Maureen can be made to Delta Hospice or to the "Maureen "MoMo" Roberts" Memory Page of the BC Cancer Foundation.

I just found out about Maureen passing away. I am over come with sadness to say the least. I knew Maureen, while I sat as a Trustee for Teamsters 31 for just over 4 years. I had the utmost respect for her integrity, and certainly enjoyed her company while on retreats. She will be missed terribly. The worlds' loss is Heavens gain for sure. My sympathies to the family and her beloved Shannon.

I worked with Maureen at the Workers Compensation Board and the Workers Compensation Review Board. I was on numerous WCRB panels where Maureen represented her union clientele on appeal. Maureen was very well respected in the field. Whatever role she chose to take, she did exceptionally well.

She was very meticulous, knowledgeable, professional, and committed to seeking fair and equitable treatment for the members of her organization. As a result, many of her cases were successfully settled. May all the good memories of Maureen sustain her loved ones during this time of loss.
