Hi Auntie Meazy :) I don't know why, but I'm thinking about you today. Sometimes I feel like you're watching over me, and it scares me because it's hard not knowing what you must think of me. I know how much you loved us all while we were little, but I wish you could have known us (and we could've known you) now. You would be so proud of all we've overcome and achieved, I think. I hope the afterlife is treating you well, and I miss you so so much. Do you remember all the fun times we had together? I feel like you still think of me. Sometimes, when I feel you with me, it's almost like you remind me of how you saw me when I was younger- with such genuine admiration. I feel like you're reminding me that I had no reason to be so hard on myself. I love you. I wish you could talk to me in person, that we could go out and get coffee or something and just talk. My dear Meaziyeee, it is been 8 years today since the day you left us...We all miss you so much and never thought this would happen,but unfortunately 8 years ago today we had to say goodbye. You were truly an AMAZING sister,had a heart of gold, showed unconditional love and honestly one of the most generous person my, gone way too young, but definitely never forgotten. Memories of Meaza...wow not much memories of her except for those in Ft Jackson, SC where we went to basic together. Meaze was a person who no matter what gave her all. Drill Sgt's always picked on her but she was a tough cookie and stood her ground. There were even times when some of us stood up for her. She was an easy person to talk to but dont get on her bad side lol...her accent came out heavily. Always had a smile on her face no matter how rough her day was. I will always keep you close to my heart. Though we only were together in basic it was enough to create a lifetime friendship with you no matter where we went in our military careers. My memories of meazie are when we shared or food and water when we did field exercises at FT Jackson in SC. From there we both traveled to FT Lee Virginia.. There We ran together stayed in the same room..Shared all our snacks together..She was there when I got married..I remembered when she did her religous wedding ceremony..lol...That was the first time I experienced anything like that..Meaza was my best friend from beginning to end...but meazie just cause you are in heaven now doesnt mean that our friendship is over...I will forever hold you in my heart...In her home she used to keep it oh so cold.... family and friends who would visit would know exactly what Im talking about...lol to visit meazie you would need you over coats and snow boots that just how cold it was in her house...lol..you are truely missed girl...Love you so much!!!..
