She is survived by her husband of 6 years, River Lee Zipperer, of Mayo; 3 children, Sawyer, Kellan, and Sutton Zipperer; Her Parents, Edward M. Walker Jr., and wife Monica, of Panacea, and Amy Alvarez, and husband Juan, of Perry, FL; Her Father and Mother-in-law, Lee and Lori Zipperer, of Live Oak; Paternal grandparents, Edward and Delores Walker Sr., of Mayo; Maternal grandparents, Paul and Brenda Miller, of Live Oak; 2 brothers, Bryer Lee, of Perry, and Colton Walker, of Panacea, FL; 5 sisters, Brittany Walker, Tori Flores, both of Mayo, Lily Walker, and Ellie Walker, both of Panacea, and Taylor Zipperer, of Branford; as a well as numerous other relatives and many friends..
Funeral services for Megan will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Airline Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Sullivan officiating. Interment services will follow in Wayfare Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday December 2, also at Airline Baptist Church. All arrangements are under the care of Burns Funeral Home of Mayo.

Even tho I didn't personally know Megan she made such an impression on many with her sweet sweet soul..God always has a plan and even tho we don't want to let go of a loved one just know it's apart of God's almighty plan and having faith and believing Jesus gives us a promise to all be together again in heaven, I look forward to meeting Megan then.

I think your beautiful girl brought me to YouTube. There she was, lying in her hospital bed, so brave and lovely. In that instant she gave me peace, something that I haven't had in a long time.
Now, she can fly with the angels in heaven. Pain free and happy. Try not to get too lonely for her, she's with all who loved her, and I imagine many strangers as well. Rest In Peace....

By chance I happened upon Megan's video on YouTube last night, the one that she recorded while she was in the hospital. I have been thinking deeply about the meaning of life and death every since, but I am at a loss to understand why such a beautiful young person's life was cut short in this manner. I wish that I could thank her personally for that video, for it has reminded me of how fragile and precious life can be, and how important it is to express our love for our families, friends, and neighbors, and even people we don't know, while we still can.
God bless Megan's soul forever. Amen.

I would like to say although I have never met you, I saw your video and my heart broke. I know you are with God and such a powerful force watching over your loved ones. Please know that we pray for your loved ones in hopes that they may one day heal or to just have a bit of understanding which may give them peace. Megan created a space for me to revisit the care and love that the Lord and I have for myself...and my life....
