My sincere if belated condolences to the family, good friends all through the years: Mathew, Terry, Larry, Paris, Mark.
He contributed so much to his family, his community. And that, as much as his humanity is his legacy.
Take care.

I'm sadden by this but I'll keep in mind the stories by Melvin II or his father talking about my father "Pud." Now you'll be able to visit and share some times together again.
God Bless you and I pray that you'll have a place in heaven.
God Bless your genes in the family that continue to give in Saint Paul.
God Bless your family and I hope they find comfort in the fact that you'll be in a good place.

To the Family of Mr. Melvin Whitfield Carter, Sr. This fine gentleman was a GREAT icon in our community, thank you, Sir. I used to come in contact with Mr. Carter at Episcopal Homes during my volunteering and he was always so pleasant, thank you. Mr. Carter was truly LOVED so much by his family and so many of us in the community. You sure will be missed by so many but NOT forgotten. My sincere condolences, thoughts & prayers to the Family during this difficult time. Family, please stay strong, together and positive and focus on the many special moments you shared with this fine gentleman, father, grandfather and family member.
