Michael COPAN Obituary

COPAN _ Michael David May 14 1953 - June 6, 2003. An ILWU Local 500 Union Brother, a man of few words, strong ideals, an insatiable appetite for fairness and equality consistently generous and caring just to mention a few of his qualities. At just 50 Mike passed after a courageous battle with Cancer, a battle made more tolerable by the many nursing and care aide staff at G.F. Strong, Vancouver Hospital, Cancer Clinic and in his last few months at St. James Community Hospice. He is survived by his dad Les Copan (Ivy); sisters, Lea (Theodore), Gail (Rollie); nephew Rob; niece Willow and grand-nephew Anthony. Predeceased by his mother Betty and brother Steve. His request is, no service on his behalf and that all donations be forwarded to the St. James Cottage Hospice. 650 N. Penticton Street, Vancouver BC, V5K3L8
