Michael D "Buddy" Hess

Michael D (Buddy) Hess, of Bullhead City AZ, passed away on June 13, 2024 at the age of 65 after fighting a brief illness. Mike grew up in Lawrence, Kansas and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1977. He worked at E&E Display Group for 15 years, where he made lifelong friendships. Mike also managed Land/Air Express for 20 plus years in the Las Vegas and Phoenix areas.

Growing up, Mike enjoyed working on cars, hunting and fishing. His biggest passion was fishing. He loved fishing with his wife, Candie, and with both his boys. He also enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chief's, where he was known to "occasionally" let out a cuss word. Mike also enjoyed visiting and spending time with his best friend Daryl Morgison.

He was preceded in death by his Mother (Evelyn Hess), Father (Ora D "Bud" Hess) and Mother (Agnes Richardson). He is survived in the home by his wife of 17 years, Candie Hess and his dog Princess. He is also survived by his two sons, Anthony Hess (Arizona) and Andrew Hess (Arizona), two sisters Cheri (Chuck) Fitzgerald (Nevada), Lori Pringle (Utah), and his two brothers, Doug Hess (Oklahoma) and Arthur Hess (Kansas).
