I trained with Michael at the Georgetown University Medical Center. He was a very caring doctor, and his humor kept us all going. I regret that I am almost four years too late in expressing my sympathy, but I needed to say how much we liked him.

My first job after leaving college was as Junior Secretary for the Vaccination Clinic in 1971. Dr Phelan was such a nice, happy person who I remember with fondness. I left the practice just prior to his marriage to Dona to pursue my career as a Medical Secretary a little closer to home.

I am so terribly sad to hear about Michael, I worked with both Michael and Dona in Great Cumberland Place and have never forgotten you both, God Bless to all the family, I am so sorry that I have just heard this sad news. Rest in Eternal Peace Michael.
