Michele Mughetto (Besso) Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 31, 2024.
Michele Mughetto (Besso), aged 67, passed away on November 22, 2022, in St. Charles, Missouri. Born on September 24, 1955, in Bergen County, New Jersey, Michele was the beloved daughter of Josephine Besso and the late Michael Besso Sr, and sister to Michael Besso. She graduated from Fort Lee High School and continued her education at the Pratt Art Institute, where she nurtured her artistic talents.

Michele was a lifelong lover of art and music. Her passion for painting led her to create beautiful artworks, often showcased at art exhibitions. She had an unwavering love for rock and roll, with particular adoration for Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones, Stevie Nicks, and bands like INXS. Michele's passions extended to the culinary arts; she was an avid cook who enjoyed watching cooking shows and experimenting with new recipes. She also enjoyed making vegetable juice at home, humorously describing it as "Life's Blood."

In her personal life, Michele was a devoted mother to her son, Gregory, born in 1977. She raised him in Cliffside Park, New Jersey, until he graduated from high school and was enrolled in college. Michele then moved to St. Charles, Missouri, with her loving husband, Vincent Mughetto, where they spent 25 wonderful years together.

An endearing family anecdote involves her son Gregory, who, during his pizza delivery part-time job, decided to adopt two baby kittens. Initially furious about the unexpected addition, Michele, along with Vincent, eventually became devoted cat lovers, providing a loving home to several very spoiled and happy cats over the years.
