Mikell Mulligan Circle Ramirez

March 28, 1949 -January 9, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that our family wishes to announce the passing of Mikell Mulligan Circle Ramirez. Mikell was born March 28, 1949, the second of four children to Nellie and Daniel P. Mulligan II. Mikell attended both Roseville High School in Roseville, CA and Thomas Downy High School in Modesto, CA. In 1972 Mikell married her first husband, Roseville native Earl Circle. Together, Earl and Mikell adopted three children between 1985 and 1987. Although their marriage ended in 2000, they were able to navigate a friendship in later years that lasted into her final days. Mikell married her second husband Roger Ramirez in 2005. She resided with Roger in Mexico until his passing in 2021. She returned to California for several years, before finally settling in Hawaii. Mikell had a strong unwavering Christian faith, loved butterflies, enjoyed reading, and never refused an opportunity to boogie down to her favorite music. Mikell is survived by her three children Audra, Melinda and Nicholas. Also surviving Mikell are her younger siblings Maureen and Daniel III, as well as nephews Robert, Kelly, Erin, Arthur and Daniel IV, nieces Kanidtha, Jacqueline, Christine and Michelle, and 5 grandchildren. Her passing will be felt by the many lives she touched in several states and other countries. A family gathering is being planned at Liliokalani Park in Hawaii, at a grove overlooking the ocean where she spent so much time and found great peace.
