Morris Couch Obituary
Burial will be in Flint Creek Cemetery in Cullman County. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Couch died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Jan. 21, 1931, in Morgan County to Austin Couch and Watha Morris Couch.
Survivors include his wife, Dean Laney Couch; one son, Mark Couch and wife Sherry of Birmingham; two daughters, Susan Dorough and husband Larry, and Kelli Moran and husband Sean, all of Birmingham; two brothers, Paul Jackson Couch and wife Betty of Memphis and Winford O. Couch and wife Gayle of Lovingston, Va.; one sister, Elaine Couch Stinson and husband Lowell of Decatur; and four grandchildren.

I remember Mr Couch being the choir director at my parents church.As a child his playing made me feel good. My condolences to his family.

Dear Kelli and Family,
I wanted to send this e-mail to you and your family to express to you how sorry I am to hear the news of your dad. I remember waking up in the mornings getting ready for school to his piano playing on "Country Boy Eddie". He always had a smile on his face. Please give your mom, Mark and Susan a big hug for me. I wanted to get up to Hartselle this evening and was ready to leave work early today until my co-worker reminded me that I have a business dinner I am suppose to attend. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers along with those of my family. Take care and I hope to talk with you soon.
