Morris Tobias

Morris Joel Tobias, 85, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Jupiter Medical Center following an unexpected illness.

Born on February 27, 1940, in Hartford, Connecticut, Morris carried with him a lifelong appreciation for language, storytelling, and the arts. He graduated from Rutgers University and went on to build a dynamic career that reflected his creativity and leadership. As the founder and sole proprietor of Godfather Marketing and Consulting, Morris brought vision and ingenuity to his work. His professional contributions extended beyond his business-he served as Vice President of the Home Builders Association of Palm Beach County and was President of his homeowner's association. He also played a pivotal role in the cultural life of South Florida as a member of the original Board of Directors for the renowned SunFest Festival.

Morris had a remarkable ability to connect with others through humor and heartfelt stories. Whether reminiscing about New York or sharing tales from his travels, he captivated those around him with warmth and wit. His appreciation for life's joys-art, conversation, laughter-was matched by his gift for recognizing the good in people.

For 44 years, Morris shared a devoted partnership with his loving wife Ethel Tobias. He is also remembered with affection by his stepson Jay Kaplan; stepdaughter Beth Levine; five grandchildren-Jake, Trey, Avery, Andrew, and Lauren; brother-in-law Bruce Terkeltaub; sister-in-law Kathy Frey Terkeltaub; as well as by his cherished "Florida Family" and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be announced by his family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Morris's memory to Jupiter Medical Center, a not-for-profit hospital.
