Mozelle L. Owen

Mozelle Owen, 91 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 at her home. She was born July 19, 1917 in Columbia County, Arkansas to the late Martin Delton and Ethel Irine (Holly) Hooks. She was the owner, along with her late husband, A.H. "Cap" Owen, bookkeeper and dispatcher of Southwestern Taxi. She was later employed at Shanhouse, and a member of Central Baptist Church. Mozelle was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Mark David Hill, and a sister, Eunice Baucum. She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Faye Allder and her husband Charles of Waldo, Arkansas, Patsy Sue Hill and her husband David of Magnolia, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Claudette Glasscock and her husband Monty of McNeil, Arkansas, Scott Allder and his wife Michelle of Garfield, Arkansas, Craig Hill and his wife Karie of Ft. Worth, Texas; and seven great grandchildren, Colton, Emily, and Shane Allder, Jill and Ben Glasscock, and Bailey and Makenzie Hill. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 10:00 at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Wood and Bro. Jim Cross officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Family visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Pallbearers will be Craig Hill, Scott Allder, Monty Glasscock, James Madden Dickson, Glenn Hooks, Vernon Ferguson. www.lewisfuneralhome.biz
