Myrland Glenn Wardell was born the oldest of three March 2nd, 1929 in Troy, ID. He went by "Glenn". He graduated from Oregon City High School in 1947. He met the love of his life Anita Hinkle at a dance at the Redland Grange and they were married 72 years. His family meant the world to him. He is survived by 2 daughters, 1 son, an honorary daughter in Japan, 1 Goddaughter, 1 Godson, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great great grandchildren. He has 2 sons that have passed previously. He was a Mill Wright at Publisher's Paper Mill for 39 years. He built the house in Oregon City where his children were raised. He enjoyed the outdoors; especially catching Paddle Fish in the Yellow Stone River at Glendive, MT. Many a year he went hunting & brought home elk from an area near Pendleton, OR. People enjoyed his sense of humor and he didn't know a stranger. During his retirement he enjoyed cruises, traveling Europe, China and Snowbirding in AZ. He passed away April 18, 2024. He donated his body to science. He's hoping to get his head examined. He is missed & forever loved by many family and friends.
