M. Catherine Rhonemus age 84 of Lynchburg died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the Heartland of Hillsboro. She was born September 30, 1927 in Dodsonville, Ohio the daughter of the late Leo Scott and Ruthie Runyon Rhonemus. Ms. Rhonemus had worked for several years for the Luschek Implement Company in Lynchburg and Hillsboro. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, BLOOM, Lynchburg Historical Society and the Lynchburg Lions Club. She is survived by one niece, Carolyn (Don) Shoemaker of Hillsboro, one nephew, Jeff (Angela) Rhonemus of Wilmington, one great niece, Samantha Ann (Ramon) Ahrman of Xenia, one great nephew, Jay Justin Runk of Hillsboro, one great great nephew, Connor Ahrman, one sister-in-law, Virginia Rhonemus of Lynchburg and a special friend, D. J. Green of Lynchburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Dana Hertenstein and one brother, Hugh Rhonemus. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 3rd at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Rev. Bob Skipper will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lynchburg Historical Society, P. O.
