Nancy GRANTHAM Obituary

GRANTHAM, Nancy (nee Porter) On June 5th, Nancy Grantham left this world to begin her flight with the ravens. Born in 1944 to parents John and Pat Porter, she was raised in West Vancouver and graduated from West Van High in 1962. She lived in San Francisco for 10 years and then moved to Kauai living there for over forty years. She married Ken Thompson and had three children, Shannon, Kelly and Patrick. The marriage ended and a few years later she married Bruce Grantham and they began a wonderful life together. Her family was her greatest joy and grew to include 9 beautiful grandchildren. She also was successful in business, building Grantham Resorts. She is survived in B.C. by her sister Susan and brothers Mike, David, Greg and Mark. A celebration of life is on July 10, 2016 in Kauai. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Children's Tumour Foundation (CTF.org) in Nancy's memory. She led a wonderful life that reflected the fullness of her personality, gifting all who knew her.

I send my condolences to Nancy's family in memory of my lovely, vivacious 12 year old girlfriend and high school friend. Whenever I have attended a high school reunion I have looked especially to see if Nancy had joined us and tried to learn about her life...so sorry we did not connect...RIP my friend.
