Nancy Quill

Nancy L. (Baillieul) Quill, 79, a 55 year resident of Hampden, MA, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born in Springfield on March 17, 1940, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Pauline Marie deDenonville and step daughter of the late Helen (Schindler) Baillieul. She was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School, Class of 1957. Nancy proudly served our country in the United States Army. She was an OR nurse at BayState Medical Center for over 30 years. Nancy loved working in her many flower gardens, oil painting, photography, extensive traveling, many times to Hawaii, and cooking for all family occasions, but most of all she treasured time spent with her family. She is survived by her three devoted children David Quill and his wife Susan of Hampden, Susan Ellis and her husband Stephen of Charleston, SC., and Douglas Quill and his wife Kim of Monson., and a brother Kenneth Baillieul of Holyoke and she leaves four cherished grandchildren, Brian and Douglas, Jessica, and Samantha. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by a granddaughter Rachel. Family and friends are invited to gather and remember Nancy on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 1-3p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield.
