Narene F. Frey, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, 85, of Lehighton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 7, into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus at Mahoning Valley Nursing Home, Lehighton, with her loving family by her side.
She was the wife of Charles W. Frey, to whom she was married to for 68 years.
She worked as a secretary for UCC in Levittown and as a typist for Education Testing Services for many years.
A graduate of Lehighton High School, Narene was a member of St. John's Mahoning Church.
Born May 26, 1932, in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Iva (LaRose) Frantz.
Narene enjoyed fishing and camping. She and Charles were fortunate enough to visit all 50 states in the union in their motorhome over a 26 year period. They relished the memories they had of these trips and the ones with their grandchildren.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughters, Sharon, wife of Kenneth Kresge of Tamaqua, and Diana, wife of Bruce Breiner of Lititz; grandchildren, Melanie, Aimee, Heather, and Matthew; and five great-grandchildren, Angelina, Declan, Sage, Kiera and Carlin.
She was also predeceased by her brother, Orville Reich.
