Narvel Whitfield "Candyman" age 63 of Gary,In passed On May 24, 2025, the Gates of Heaven opened wide, to receive Narvel "Candyman" Whitfield: along with his family; His parents Mary & John Calvert Whitfield, 5 sisters; Mildred Love, Barbara Ware, Marie Little, Sandra Calvert and Carolyn Mitchell and 2 brothers, John Calvert Jr. and James Henderson whom all proceeded him in death. His debuted his life here on earth July 15, 1961, in Gary, Indiana. Narvel attended Gary, IN Public Schools. Graduating from Horace Mann High School, afterwards attending Ivory Tech College. Narvel later moved to St. Louis, MO for several years and then moved back to Gary IN, .Narvel confessed to Hope and Christ at an early age. Narvel attended Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church until his health began to fell. Narvel was an Entrepreneur and Jack of all Trades. His favorite song for family Gatherings was "We Are One". Narvel loved to spoil his family, especially his Sisters. Narvel was a giving man, not just to family, but friends too.
