Roman, Neal J. Devoted husband & father. An honorable gentleman. Age 80, of Burnsville, on October 30, 2006. Born January 19, 1926 in St. Paul. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard and son, Bruce. Survived by wife of 55 years, Donna; daughters, Elizabeth (Dean) Smith, Suzanne Roman and Cynthia (Bill) Brooks; daughter-in-law, Peggy Johnson; 7 grandchildren; 1 great- granddaughter and many other relatives and good friends. NW Bell retiree. USMC veteran of WWII. Member of Monroe Men's Club. Avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman. He loved his family immeasurably. This country is a better place for his presence, dedication and efforts. Memorial service 11:00 AM, visitation 10:00 AM Friday, November 3 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 3930 Rahn Road, Eagan. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church or charity of donor's choice. Cremation Society of MN Edina 952-924-4100
