Nicholas Georgiadis Obituary
Nicholas immigrated to Canada in 1951 with hopes for a better life, and established Rex Travel Agency which still exists today under the name Voyages FunRex Alcyon. He was a man of great kindness, generosity, and humility, who helped thousands in the Greek community during his lifetime.
Nicholas will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 50 years, Yvonne Georgiadis, his daughter Chrysa (Stewart), his son Demetrios (Sylvana), and his grandchildren Nicholas, Thomas, Brianna, and Jenna.
He leaves behind many relatives and close friends in Montreal, Greece, and New York.
The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Parlour, 1255 Beaumont, on April 22nd, 2013 from 2:30 to 9:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at St-George Greek Orthodox Church at 2455 Cote-Ste-Catherine road on April 23rd, 2013 at 11:00 AM. The burial will take place at Mausoleum Saint Francois d'Assise, 6893 Sherbrooke East, Montreal.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Heart Institute or the Canadian Cancer Society is appreciated.

I was so very sorry to hear of Mr. Georgiadis' passing.
I will forever remember Nick as a hard-working but fun-loving father who was friendly, funny and welcoming anytime I visited the house.
