I am new to watching OT and its April 2020. The truckers in this show started growing on me. Especially Noelene who with aN almost similar knee reconstruction surgery like mine, got back to driving against all odds. I know what an uphill task that is. I admired her zeal and enthusiasm for her job. I got to know about her death 6 years too late l, nevertheless I am saddened. RIP Noelene and keep on Trucking. My condolences to the family as I now 6 years it 60 you will always miss your loved ones their untimely passing.

Noelene brought authenticity to the show, along with her great sense of humor, love for Bluesey and the Big rigs, she fought so hard to keep her place in the driver's seat! She's definitely missed, my sincere condolences to Bluesey! Thanks for sharing a segment of your life with the rest of us!

My friend wasn't a candle
The woman was a blowtorch.
In the wind yes, but also in the stables, the shed and the sun.
In the shawl her four boys gave her, wearing the red lipstick Jen insisted on
She was my idea of a warrior queen, stately, but getting things done.
Her needs were simple, but she was not.
She felt too much to be simple, and her feelings never quite fitted
Her passion and her compassion overflowed
Making cages, castles and long stories which trailed back to her birth with a dodgy heart: 'if she lives, she lives, if she dies, she dies' said the matron to her mother and my friend had those words still ringing in her ears and decided quick and ran hot and kept moving on to their rhythm every day of her life.
She abso-bloody-lutely lived
She loved harder than she wanted to
And she grieved, gut wrenched,
For a child lost, for lost time, for lost land
She was tough on her boys so they would be ready for the tough life she'd met with her strong back, quick mind, clever hands.
She was tender with her boys so they would be tender in love
Now she's died and I can't believe it to be abso-bloody-lutely true
That I'm too late to greet her, to hear her witchy-prophecies, her home-truths, her humour, her stories of her boys and her life since...too late to say thank you and farewell.
