Norberto Gonzalez Obituary
TGIF an acronym for "Tito Gonzalez Is Fantastic" was the way his friends greeted him. Member of the Northeast Kiwanis, Commercial Real Estate Agent and later bar owner of "Tito's Bar" in central El Paso he was active in local politics. Dad was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back and the life of the party. Stroke survivor of nine years residing at Regent Nursing Home he always had friends and family to visit him. We will never forget his smile, dancing or kissing the hand of a beautiful women.
Dad your strength is restored we rejoice knowing you are now with our Lord. You are our guarding angel. Dance! Laugh! and be "Fantastic"!. Visitation will be 5pm to 9pm Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Martin Funeral Home Central with a 7pm vigil. Funeral Mass will be 1:30pm Friday, June 28, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment at a later date.

Rest in Peace Tito!! You will also hold a special place in our family's heart. I remember you from the drug store in Northgate Center, and also being friends with my precious father in law Emmett Larkin, and special friend to Sam Rutherford and others in the Northeast El Paso politics, real estate etc. My condolences to your family.

Tito my best friend since the age of 3. My friend, my brother I will miss you so very much. The best Uncle my children ever could have, they love you so much. We will see each other soon to continue the best friendship any two people could ever have. Thank you and I will always love you.

I am sorry about "Tito"s passing. When Tito was at the Monatana Inn and then Tito's Bar, he would always take care of my friends and myself. He never let any guys misbehave or others act improperly towards us or anyone else. He always made sure everyone in the place was served promptly, given good service, and always pitched in to help. He was well rounded in politics, world events, and places and conversed in all fields and always smiling and laughing. He will be missed. My prayers are with the Gonzalez Family and may he rest in peace now.
