MICHAEL HOLT
Michael Holt was born November 9, 1956 in Chicago, IL. Michael accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Grant Memorial Church while living in Chicago upon moving to Gary. He attended New Hope (Pastor Roberts) Rhema Inspirational Church (Pastor Howard) and New Life Missionary Baptist Church (Pastor Ezell). Michael graduated from Hirsch High School in Chicago, IL, attended several Schools; Washburne Trade (Carpentry), Olive Harvey College (Food Service Management), Truman College (Busniess Management) and Today's Educational Network (Computer Tech). He is preceded in death by his father, John O. Holt; and his mother, Alma Holt. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving companion and friend of 23 years, Debbie Tousant; 3 daughters, Jasmine S. Holt Fairburn, GA, Aja Holt Memphis, TN, Jacqui A. Holt Gary, IN; 2 sons, Michael J. Holt Chicago, IL and Tharon M. Holt Gary, IN; also 5 grandchildren, Armoni, Fantaja, Destiny, Elijah and Imagine; 6 aunts, Chestanna, Margaret, Ophelia, Josephine, Frances and Gladys; a host of cousins and friends. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Grant Memorial AME Church, 4017 S. Drexel Boulevard, Chicago, IL. Wake and pre-past at 10:00 AM. Funeral Services at 11:00 AM. Interment Services at Restvale Cemetery, 11700 S. Laramie Ave, Alsip, IL.
