1938- 2012
The passing of Mrs. Evelyn Ruth Budz (nee Currie), age 74 years, beloved wife of Mike occurred peacefully on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at her residence. Evelyn was born on October 26, 1938 in Wadena, SK. She took her schooling at Newgate Rural School in the Nora District. She worked in RoseValley as a babysitter for Rustons and married Mike Budz in 1958. They lived in Archerwill, Lynn Lake, MB, Thompson, MB, and Asquith retiring to Saskatoon in 1997 and had resided here since. Evelyn enjoyed ball, curling, fishing, reading, gardening, cooking and baking. She is survived by her loving husband Mike; two sons Mark (Denise) and Noel (Dian); six grandchildren Breanne, Marlee, Derrick, Nolan, Marissa and Mikale; two sisters Myrna Revoy and Coral (Maurice) Kanak; brother Wilf (Sophie) Currie and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters Gladys Blythe and Agnes Plaskin and a brother Myron as a young child. The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00 am from Park Funeral Chapel, 311-3rd. Ave. North, Saskatoon. Interment will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
