I had the fun opportunity to speak with Owen on the telephone for the very first time in 2023, as he had called his Uncle Ron for a chat. I´m only sorry that I never had the chance to meet Owen in person, as I understand from the warm tributes from family, friends and what Cousin Ron Vogel had told me about his nephew, it would have been a nice sit down. Distance and years have passed Cousin Kenny, since the great "Vogel Reunion" photo taken in Grandma Vogel´s backyard in the 1970´s when we were just mere youngsters, family is family, so I offer my heart felt sympathies to you, Kenny, Carol, Owen´s brothers, and Maggie, as grief is a journey and Owen will be thought of many times with smiles, laughs and certainly tears and missed ever so greatly!
I offer my Sincere Condolences...
Love,
Pamela Vogel (Livermore, Colorado)

Owen was such an easygoing guy. I never saw him get too upset unless it was standing up to management. He was so quiet and reserved but there was so much life to this guy. He will be missed by so many.

I met Owen only once, but had heard many kind and wonderful things about him. I enjoyed the conversation and feel blessed I had that moment. Kathy from Missouri

Owen was such a funny and smart guy! He taught me so much at the post office, as we did a lot of collections together. He could really back up a giant truck like it was nothing. I really respected and admired him greatly. His death is a tragic loss. Thinking of Owen's loved ones during this painful time.
