Pat Arren Warren

Pat Arren Warren, 81, of Melrose, Florida, passed away May 27, 2022.

Born March 26, 1941, in Gainesville, Florida, Pat was a member of the Gainesville High School Class of 1959. He spent his career at Southern Bell and then the Communications Workers of America, from which he retired in 1999. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and volunteered countless hours supporting the Melrose community.

Pat is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Kathi Warren, of Melrose; his son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Alison Warren, of Fort Mill, SC; two grandsons, Nate Warren and Thomas Warren; his sister Peggy Meade, of Gainesville; brother-in-law Charles Grubbs, of Valrico, FL; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by his daughter Suzannah Warren; his parents Edson and Evelyn Warren; sisters Barbara Grubbs and Dolores Brown; brothers-in-law Marc Brown and Scott Sipprell; and father- and mother-in-law Murray and Trudie Sipprell.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at Paran Church Cemetery in Putnam Hall, FL (near Grandin, FL), with a reception to follow at the Trinity Episcopal Church Parish Hall in Melrose. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Melrose Library Association (P.O. Box 54, Melrose, Florida 32666) or Haven Hospice (4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606).
