Patricia Ann Evans

January 13, 1949 - August 12, 2025

Patricia Ann Evans, of St. Augustine, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 12. 2025 at the age of 76, with loved ones at her bedside. Beloved daughter of the late LeRoy and Charlotte Evans; cherished sister of James D. (Lois) Evans; devoted mother of Tabitha Schneider, Charlotte and Gary Schneider-Schweizer, and Nathaniel Carlson; loving grandmother of Sierra Schneider and adoring great grandmother of Ari Masarek.

Patricia attended the Mineral Ridge (OH) and Niles McKinley (OH) high schools, and she earned degrees in psychology (with high honors) and in clinical psychology and counseling from Youngstown State University. For many years she served as a licensed professional counselor, and, for an even longer period, provided instruction in meditative and healing yoga. Her hobbies included spending time with her beloved dogs and facilitating drumming circles and spiritual guidance. Although selfless and humble, she was an accomplished and highly respected professional who was loved by all who knew her. She helped innumerable clients and friends have more meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Everyone who knew her will have an empty space with her gone from this earth, but her memory remains a bright light to all.

Memorials may be made in Patricia's name to the LeRoy E. and Charlotte G. Evans Scholarship fund at Lindenwood University, 209 South Kingshighway, Saint Charles, MO 63301.

Patricia will be laid to rest in Kerrs Cemetery in Mineral Ridge, OH with her beloved parents. A private interment ceremony will be held at a later date.
