Patricia Hefter Obituary
Patricia A. Hefter, 64 of Fond du Lac, died while surrounded by family on Friday, September 2, 2016. She was born in Fond du Lac on February 13, 1952, a daughter of Lawrence "Nibs" and Lucille (Landerman) Bond. On March 11, 1972, she married Michael Hefter at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Fond du Lac.
Foremost, Patricia was a devoted mother to her children and grandchildren. In addition to caring for her own family, Patricia ran an in-home daycare in which she provided care and nurturing for many other families. Patricia spent an additional 17 years tending to children with Johnson Bus.
SURVIVORS include her husband, Michael; four children, Jeff (Margaret), Becky Carmona, Michelle Hefter (Aaron Michels) all of Fond du Lac and Joseph (Susan) of Grafton; five grandchildren, Jennica, Dayne, Leo, Fenn and Ayla; her mother, Lucille Bond of Fond du Lac; two brothers, Richard (Meiling) Bond of Foster City, Calif. and Mark (Peggy) Bond of Fond du Lac; mother-in-law, Marjorie Hefter of Fond du Lac; two sisters-in-law, Linda Hefter and Barb (Ken) Fisher, all of Fond du Lac; brother-in-law, John (Debbie) Hefter of Fond du Lac; and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence "Nibs" Bond; nephew, Jason Bond; and her father-in-law, Harold Hefter.
VISITATION: Friday, September 9, 2016 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. FUNERAL SERVICE: A celebration of the Liturgy of the Word will begin at 7:00 PM. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Patricia's name may be made to Agnesian Hospice - Home of Hope.

I used to be one of Pat's school bus students for approximately four years. We have had numerous good times together and shared positive memories. Pat, may the lord be with you. You will be missed by many loved ones

I just read about Pat in the Action Ad. My prayers are for peace and comfort for you, Mike, and her entire family. Pat will certainly be remembered for her daycare and being the first teacher my children had. Always a beautiful smile on her face and an AMAZING women. We had the chance to work with Pat when she drove the bus and Rosenow was her route. She was a patient lady and would do anything to help our kids. She will be missed.
