I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Pat. I have many very fond memories of him as we grew up on South 7th. I last saw him in about 1998 when we were dealing with my mother-in-law's alzheimers. We said we would keep in touch but didn't except for one call in 2015 when I was home for my HS reunion. It was shortly after he retired and he was getting ready to go on a long trip on his bike so we couldn't meet up.
We talked for quite awhile and I remember how proud he was of and the joy he took from his family.
Alice, Patrick, and Katie; Joellen, Kevin, and Brian; I wish I could be there this weekend but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
RIP PAT!
While writing this note, many memories popped into mind of the old neighborhood - the childhood friends - John O'Brien, Phil Boria, Jean Sutton, John Newman (and others) that spent the days playing wiffleball, football, baseball out on the boulevard; playing kickball, neighborhood hide-n-seek, kick-the-can, and riding our bikes all over the Harvard Park area; fishing in Bunn Park "Lagoon"; the house he grew up in (and the infamous all concrete backyard), his mother Marjorie (who was a true friend of my mom); the tornado that passed through the area in the mid-fifties, and many more.
As I said, my thoughts and prayers are with you (and Pat).

Kevin, please know my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. I was shock to hear of this terrible news of your brothers passing. If you need anything please let me know my friend. May your brother rest in peace.
