Molly,
So sorry to hear about your dad. And I'm sad that I never had the chance to meet him. But I know if he was anything like you, I'm sure I would have loved him.

Dear Pat & Family, I am sorry for the worlds loss of of a man I considered to be a freind, mentor, he touched my life like no other man out side of my family. The trust and faith he put in me to help run the store was and is motivating to this day. He in fact was the first man to instill confidence and strength of will. The success I have had in life, as well as the setbacks, have been realized with having been exposed to Paul's stregth of will in good times and bad. Thank you Paul, thank you Scanlon family, I loved him then and God bless him now!

So sorry to hear about your dad. Always thought he was so funny. And, I still think he looked like Paul Newman.....so did a bunch of the Holy Angels girls. I will see you at the wake.

Pat & family,
Seeing that picture, I could still smell his cigar!! He is the only one in my life that I have fond memories of his cigar!
My best memories of him were at the cabin on fish lake, WI. Him and my dad out in the boat and Joey shooting at them with his bb gun, lol.
I believe he is in the big ball game in Heaven with my dad, and mom keeping score, lol.
I will see you at the wake,
Kim Smith Culp (Bob & Georgia Smith's youngest daughter)

My sympathies to each of you. From one baseball family, to another, your mention of officiating really took me back to those great days, in Richfield.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time

To the Scanlon Family! I remember when our kids were growing up playing ball at the West Richfield Little League park and Paul coming to cheer the kids on. What wonderful memories to help you get through a tough time. Your family is in my prayers!

Dear Pat,
We are so sorry for the loss of your best friend Paul. Dunny and I want you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We love you. In stealing a line from Tim Russert-- if God said "Pat, I am going to give you this guy Paul for 57 years but then I am going to take him away" would you make the deal? We know you would!!!!
