PAUL I. ZAPPOLI
AGE: 67 JACKSON
Paul I. Zappoli, 67, of Jackson, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, worked as a laborer for the City of New York, and retired in 1983.
Surviving are his wife, Denise Zappoli, owner of Toymasters of Red Bank; son & daughter-in-law, Paul and Rebecca Zappoli; son, Matthew Zappoli; daughter & son-in-law, Michelle and Christian Nicosia; granddaughters, Lilah and Rikki; sister and brother-in-law, Rosanne Zappoli and Arnold Graves; niece, Jennifer Pellegrino; nephew and his wife, Anthony Pellegrino & Megan Doyle; niece, Heather Graves; and the members of his loving extended family, who were always there for him.
Visiting will be Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated. DEAR DENISE AND FAMILY,
I FEEL TERRIBLE FOR ALL OF YOU....EVEN THOUGH THE LAST FEW YEARS HAVE BEEN ROUGH, I' M SURE YOU WEREN'T READY FOR THIS.
THE YEARS WE SPENT AS NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS WERE THE HAPPIEST OF MY LIFE, AND ALL OF YOU WERE A BIG PART OF THAT TIME. I'M GLAD FOR THE FRIENDSHIP OF OUR KIDS, AND I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER WITH GREAT FONDNESS THE FRIDAY NITE CARD GAMES THE GUYS HAD....PAUL WAS SUCH A HUGE PART OF THE FUN WE HAD ON THOSE EVENINGS, I WILL REMEMBER WITH GREAT JOY PAUL AND THOSE TIMES.
