Paula Estelle Jones

Paula Estelle Jones, 59, passed away on September 17, 2022, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Tacoma, Washington and lived most of her life in Springfield, MA. Paula attended Commerce High School, and spent many years of her life serving the homeless community of Western Massachusetts. Paula was a devoted grandmother to her granddaughters, Preiajah & Preana. She was the life of the party at every event & loved holiday time with family & friends. She enjoyed caring for her many plants and her home. She was a member of Christian Cathedral in Springfield, MA. She was a treasured family member and friend, always ready to help others when needed. To carry on her memory, she is survived by her partner, Michael Brown, her mother, Peggy Mitchell, her children, Peggy Jones of Arizona, Precious Jones and Perrell Jones-Brown of Springfield, and Porsha Jones-Brown of Connecticut. She also leaves her siblings, Parish Mitchell, William Mithcell and Gerald Green; 3 grandsons, Demetrius Jones-Berry, Gabriel Jones & Peyton Levi Jones, 4 nieces, 2 nephews, and a host of loved ones and friends. There will be a service held in Paula's honor at Christian Cathedral, 205 Eastern Ave., Springfield, MA on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 1:00 - 2:30 pm
