FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. JOHN 3:16 Mr. Peter Robert "Bob" Kusick, 76 years, of Nipigon, Ontario passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 2, 2009 in the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital, Nipigon, Ontario with his family by his side. Bob worked as a cashier for Canadian National Express for thirteen years, was the financial officer for Greatwest Timber for twelve years and for Multiply Plywood for four years. He was a self employed accountant for twenty-five years. Bob enjoyed camping and fishing with his grandsons and his dog. He was a hobbyist guitar player. Predeceased by his parents - Peter and Frances Kusick, by three brothers - James, Henry and Edward, by a step-brother Terry O'Donovan and by three siblings in infancy; he is survived by his wife Maureen (nee MacLeod) Kusick of Nipigon, by his daughter Eveline (& John) Maedel of Nipigon, by two grandsons - Thomas (T.J. ) and Charlie both at home, by four siblings - Alexander Kusick of Cambridge, Ontario, Roger Kussick (& Rosa) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Catherine Mittleholt and Barbara Clace both of Dryden, Ontario and sister-in-law Lillian Kusick of Sioux Lookout, Ontario. According to Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for Robert Kusick, in the care of Elliott Funeral Home Ltd. , Nipigon will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 11 A.M. at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Nipigon with the Rev. Joan Lock of St. John's Anglican Church, Schreiber officiating. Friends so wishing may make donations to St. Mary's Anglican Church or to the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital Acute Care."
