I saw Phil every four months as his dental hygienist. I have missed him so much. We had so many laughs together. He was a joy to be around. I know that months have passed, but my sincere sorrow for the loss of this great man. We talked many times of his family. They were very precious to him. He is missed.

My condolences, thought and prayers to Phils family. I knew Phil and was at the beach that day. We had been ready for a clam bake like we had done several times before. His life after the accident was no idfferent than before and he lived his life without sorrow or pity. He was a stand up guys even in his chair. Will remember him with light in his eyes, at all the parties we had. We will miss, but not forget him.

Phil,
May your star continue to shine in the lives of those you touched. You taught us all how to overcome adversity and do it with a smile. I am amazed at all the accomplishments you achieved in your life. My sympathy and prayers go out to those you left behind.

Phil is a gentle and kind spirit in our hearts. His love of life to the fullest of his capability, is an example of Christian living. His smile, his little wink, his love of Pepsi and french fries and his stories of scuba diving in Aruba are examples of his zest. He will be missed by many. God Bless and Heal his Family at Home and at Work. Bea

May God grant Phil's family and friends comfort in their mourning. Phil was a consummate professional, always doing the right thing--even if it wasn't noted on the Change Order. He loved his french fries. He loved his new wheelchair and was quite proud of his new capabilities afforded by the chair--including standing--which he demonstrated quickly at request. I will remember Phil; I will miss his smile and presence at work.

I worked with Phil in PAID on several prjects. He was very sharp, and he was witty as well. I enjoyed his sense of humor. Phil always had a 'can-do' attitude. He had a good sense of humor and was consistently up-beat. He made the most of his situation, always, and that was an inspiration! I wish I had told him that. Yes, we will miss him.

Phil and I started working for the VA around the same time. We also shared the same tour of duty and became fast friends as we talked while heading to our vehicles at the end of the day. I am saddened that Phil is no longer here to talk with. He was always cheerful and always offered an ear and a shoulder. I'll miss my friend; however, his spirit will remain in my heart and soul.

Aunt Judy, Nancy, Seth, and Alicia, What a tough year you've had. I'm so sorry to hear about Phillip's death. Reading some of the other memorial messages, I realize what an inspiring man he was. I especilly loved the french fry comment, that's what I remember most about my cousin. Sending much love and hope for comfort your way.

I'll miss Phil's laugh and positive outlook on life. We became friends since meeting at work in 98 and always talked more about diving, his chair upgrades, current events, and how his life was going. He was always fun and real. My favorite memories are always seeing him getting his fries at lunch and the times he'd tow me around the 3rd floor in my chair. Phil, you'll be missed!

Phil Noyes' presence was felt throughout the Austin Automation Center even when he was working from home. Phil was one of those programmer/analysts whose intellectual brilliance and versatility allowed him to handle any job he had to do and some that belonged to the rest of us, too. He was a thorough man regardless of any handicaps he picked up along life's way. He even had a way with the ladies. I shall not soon forget his friendship. My condolences to his family and his co-workers. Ride on, big boy! Your work here is done.

I was saddened to hear of Phil's very premature death. I worked with Phil since the late 1980's at the VA and I greatly enjoyed his dedication, enthusiasm and willingness to help others. His picture says a lot of how he approached life: smiling. We will miss him.

I worked with Phil on the Core FLS Project, learning what a unique and complete person he is. During this time Phil honored me with a request for assistance requiring a level of trust on his part that meant a great deal to me. Phil could and did deal with just about anything with a smile and a subtle sense of humor. His work at the VA was always directed toward the Veteran rather than the Administration.
