Every now and again we are fortunate enough to meet an angel among us. Rachel is one of those angels. We will always remember her smile, her love of life, and her indomitable spirit. We will miss her dearly. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the Allen family at this difficult time.

I remember watching Rachel preforming Firework at a Charge conference talent show. My oldest daughter and I stopped what we were doing to watch her because she captured our attention with her spirit. She was such a beautiful person. Sending prayers for her family. May her spirit live on!

The world is better because Rachel was in it for a short 29 years. I was blessed by your sparkly, glittery self, sweet girl. You will be missed so. See you later alligator!

I had the honor and privilege and being with Rachel on several occasions. She loved opening gifts, showing me the pink feather boa and Teletubbies in her room, and singing Firework and other songs for me. She even showed me how to make special cookies. She loved life! Her dear mom Cathy is a testament to what pouring love and dedication into your child can do: She was a light to all! Thank you, Rachel, for letting me be your friend! I will miss seeing your sweet face!

The first time I ever saw her perform. It was the talent show at our CHARGE conference. She was dress in red, white, and blue holding bom boms. She sang and signed Baby Your a Firework. First time I saw her ever and needless to say it was a very impactful and moved my to tears. She is a Firework in the Sky

I had the honor and privilege to spend time with Rachel on several occasions. She would get so excited about opening gifts, showing me the pink boa and teletubbies in her room, or singing and dancing to Firework and other favorite songs. She loved life. Nothing stopped her. Her loving mother, Cathy was an example of what pouring love and dedication into your child brings forth: a light to all! I will miss you, Rachel. Thank you for letting me be your friend.

Rachel was an angel on earth. Every Planoette who met her is a richer person for having had Rachel in their lives.

My favorite Rachel story, when Cathy and Rachel were with the PJ's, (High school friends of Cathy's) one day at Teri's house. Cathy and Rachel were talking back and forth, with Cathy interpreting. Rachel's funny side came out when all of a sudden she told Cathy that she needed a tan. LOL!
Rachel will never be forgotten. Love you Cathy.

Loved her from the time she was a baby, until she was a beauty of a young woman! She drove my passion for working with individuals who are deaf blind. She was a blessing to us all
