Rebecca Dowdy Obituary
The wife of Malcolm O. Dowdy, who survives, she was a dental lab technician for 20 years for Dr. Cecil Keller in Bolivar, Tenn. She was born June 2, 1930, in Tishomingo County, Miss., daughter of the late Albert Harold Crawford Sr. and Edith Martin Crawford and made her home in Grand Junction in 1966. She was a former member of the Grand Junction City Council and was Baptist in belief.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Dean Davis and his wife, Lea, of Judsonia, Ark.; three grandsons, Joel Davis, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Christopher and Wesley Davis, both of Judsonia, Ark.; one great-granddaughter, Abbigale Davis, of Cabot, Ark.; one sister, Elizabeh Couch, of Tuscumbia, Ala.; and a former daughter-in-law, Cathy Davis.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society.
