Reber Testerman Obituary

Testerman Reber J. Testerman of Troutdale, formally of Peach Bottom, Pa., died on May 19, 2013. Mr. Testerman was born in Mt. Nebo, Pa., a son of the late Jesse Eli and Maude Richardson Testerman. He is also preceded in death by his son Douglas J.; and siblings, J. Eli Testerman, Jr., Cleta C. Rineer and Marie Testerman. He was a master tradesman, a Maintenance Manager at Mt. Rogers Clinic, a farmer at Shady Brook Farms, Drumore, Pa., and a plumber for William Pontz of Lancaster, Pa. Mr. Testerman was a member of Valley Lee Riding Club, Drumore, Pa., and The Quarryville Rod and Gun Club in Pa. Survivors include his daughter, Deborah, and husband, Robert Fite; son, David W Testerman Sr. and wife, Sandra, both of Quarryville, Pa.; daughter Crystal and husband, Paul Owensby, of Kirkwood, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; many great- grandchildren; numerous cousins; nieces; and nephews; a companion of 27 years, Karen L. Shenberger; the mother of his children, Florence M. Testerman; and many beloved friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday May 22, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradley's Funeral Home in Marion. Contributions may be made in Reber's memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, Va. 24312. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
