Rickey Peter Munro 1960 2007 Munro The sudden passing of Rickey Peter Munro age 46 occurred on Thursday July 19, 2007 at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, SK. Rick is survived by his mother Mabel; twin brother Randy (Norine), brother Don; sisters, Brenda (Ernie), Bev (Clayton), and Wendy (Ed); several nieces, nephews, and extended family, as well as numerous friends and acquaintances. Rick is predeceased by his father James, sister Gail and sister-in-law Judith. Rick was born and raised in Saskatoon. He was employed with Kramer Tractor for a number of years, and for the past number of years he has been employed with Areva Mining. Rick was the convener up North and in Saskatoon for social activities associated with work. He enjoyed being outdoors either in his garden, fishing, golfing or any other outdoor sports. He was very generous, caring and dedicated to his family, friends and his work. Rick's Family would like to thank the Dr.'s, Nurses and support staff at the C.C.U at Royal University Hospital. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan (279 3rd Ave. North, Saskatoon, SK., S7K 2H7). A Memorial service will be held Monday July 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Knox United Church (838 Spadina Crescent East, Saskatoon, SK) officiated by Isabel Buhr. Arrangements are entrusted to MCKAGUE'S FUNERAL CHAPEL (664-3131).

Our deepest sympathies to the Munro family. I had the privilage of working with Rick at McClean Lake. I will always remember hearing the jingle of the keys; you knew Rick was on his way up the stairs and as he passed your door, the light switch would be flicked on and off. I didn't need to raise my head, I knew it was Rick. He will be missed by many. We are thankful for all the great golf tournaments he organized and all the effort and time he put into the rec committee. Site will not be the same without him.

I grew up next door to Ricky and Randy in Montgomery Place. I remember an energetic and fun loving kid. We lost touch over the years but I will always remember dirt lump fights, kick the can and "Doo Da Wah". I have only fond memories and my sympathies go out to Mabel and her family at this time.
