Hi Debbie, I'm so sorry to hear about Rob's passing and for what he and you have fought through the past so many years. I hope you can get some comfort knowing he's Home and at Peace now. He was a wonderful and kind person who was always so welcoming to, and interested in, all of us GSA employees. I have good memories of working with him, the few trips we took together and those opportunities to socialize. He really left a positive impact on the world and we are all proud of the "dash he lived".

One afternoon at the Wanamaker Building (in GSA leased space), I was leaving late and Rob showed up to meet Debbie so they could walk home together. I was humming a line from "Davy Crockett" when Rob broke out in booming song a proper rendition of "The Ballad of Davy Crockett". He must have watched a lot of the Disney classics as a lad. He knew every word. God bless Rob Hewell! - Bill Dierkes

I always got along really well with Robbie in high school. We were both involved in several activities, such as drama. I was sad for myself to learn that he spent so much time in Philadelphia - I live in Northern Virginia and we could have hung out. . .
