Robert C. Leik

YORK Robert C. "Bob" Leik, 68, died on April 25, 2013. He was the husband of Donna M. (Dietrich) Leik of York, they celebrated nearly 45 years of marriage. Born in York on September 19, 1944, he was the son of the late Clair R. and the late Dorothy (Blymire) Leik. Bob worked for the York Dispatch for 20 years, Maple Press, and was a truck driver for Mid State. He was a 1962 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Bob served in the Army Reserve and was a member of the Hawk Gunning Club the Rooster Club. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors; especially gardening and maintaining his ponds in his backyard sanctuary. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Douglas R. Leik and his wife Teresa R. of Dallastown and Brandon E. Leik and his wife, Kristen E. of Lancaster; and five grandchildren, Steven D. Leik, Tiffany N. Leik, Daniel J. Leik, Summer Bupp and Kallie A. Leik; a cousin, Donald Leik of Hellam; and a brother-in-law, Brad Dietrich and his wife, Greer of Wrightsville. Burial will be held privately by the family. The Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E.
